BBQ Food Truck Launch May 24-27
We are currently finalizing the launch of our BBQ Food Truck in the Central Belmont area of Portland, Oregon May 24-27, 2019. During this time we will be running specials and complimentary food giveaways at both 4:20 in the afternoon of May 24th and 26th and 7:10 at night on May 25th and 27th until the specials run out. Come taste a free Pulled Pork Slider or our famous Baked Mac n Cheese. Our mission is to promote and advocate the tastiest BBQ and BBQ Sauce in all of the Pacific Northwest. Portland is home to over 500 food carts and trucks at any given time. Most carts are organized into what are called “Food Court Pods.” In preparation to launch our brick and mortar restaurant in Portland, we currently are placing our food truck at a stationary location at 2623 SE Belmont Avenue in SE Portland. Meet Uncle Budsy
Uncle Budsy’s Barbecue has its roots based in Texas going back to 1964. Baptiste Aidoo, the original Uncle Budsy cooked great tasting BBQ for customers in Dallas for over 45 years. Uncle Budsy’s “Lip Smackin’ Good BBQ Sauce, Rubs and Meats” with 16 herbs and spices creates “The Secrets of Jamaica”. Uncle Budsy was a true Pit Master passing on his Secret Sauce and Rub recipe to our Founder, Michael. Now you can enjoy the great taste of Uncle Budsy’s here in Portland and soon in Las Vegas.
Uncle Budsy’s BBQ, BBQ Sauces & Rubs
Uncle Budsy’s BBQ has it’s Heart in Texas but its roots stem from Jamaica with the original inspiration of Baptiste Aido, a native of Jamaica that emigrated to Dallas, Texas in 1957 to live and work the American Dream. Unfortunately for Baptiste he lived that dream for three BBQ icons in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for almost 60 years cooking for others doing what he loved to do. His friend and BBQ student, Mickey Mon is now honoring him and his nephew Juan, with Uncle Budsy’s BBQ after they are long gone.

Mike is our head honcho and learned the art of smoking meats from the original Uncle Budsy, Baptiste Aido, who cooked BBQ for almost 60 years in the DFW area of Texas. Uncle Budsy has since passed away after being a Pit Master for over half a century in Texas. Mike started in BBQ stoking the pit and preparing meats when he was 14. Uncle Budsy passed on his signature Texas-style Rubs and Sauces to Michael, who tweaked and perfected his own ingredients and we now call him Uncle Budsy 2.0. He is the creative ideas mastermind and a financially savvy businessman. He is the founder of Oregon based, Bigado Networks, Inc. and is the principal and founder of EZ-Ticket.com, MJ Fuse, MJ Consulting Services and our cannabis edibles line under the name Chef Budsy. His extensive business experience includes financial consulting and investment banking and his technical background includes many high-end web-development certifications. Dr. Davis received his BA from North Texas University with a double major in Chemistry and Biology and received his DDS from Baylor College.
